Mini Utility Shovel

This little shovel is great for working around risers and up underneath mains. The short handle, high quality D-grip and smaller head make it perfect for tight spaces and detail digging near pipe when you don't want to scratch the coating on steel or cut into PE pipe. The smaller 6" wide head helps control twisting and protects your wrist. It may look like a kid's shovel but it's very well made and has had excellent field evaluations by several utilities. Total length is 28" with wood handle, heavy 14 gauge tempered steel head, riveted head-to-handle connection and large heavy duty D-grip.
